What was Anesiva, Inc.'s name before Anesiva?
  Anesiva was formerly Corgentech Inc. We changed our name on June 21, 2006 to reflect our growing pipeline of product candidates focused on the management of pain.
When did Anesiva go public?
  Anesiva's stock began trading on the NASDAQ National Market in February 2004. It was formerly traded under Corgentech's symbol, CGTK.
Where do Anesiva's shares trade and what is the ticker symbol?
  Anesiva 's shares are traded on the NASDAQ National Market under the ticker symbol "ANSV".
When was the merger between Anesiva and AlgoRx completed?
  The merger was completed on December 15, 2005.
What were the terms of the merger between Anesiva and AlgoRx?
  Under terms of the agreement, Anesiva issued, and AlgoRx stockholders received in a tax-free exchange, shares of Anesiva common stock such that AlgoRx stockholders own approximately 62 percent of the combined company on a pro forma basis and Anesiva stockholders own approximately 38 percent.
How many shares are outstanding?
  As of March 31, 2006, Anesiva had 20.1 million shares of common stock outstanding.
Does Anesiva offer a direct investment program (DRIP)?
  We currently do not offer a direct stock purchase or dividend reinvestment program. We currently intend to retain any future earnings to fund the development and expansion of our business, and therefore do not anticipate paying any cash dividends on common stock in the foreseeable future. Any future determination to pay dividends will be at the discretion of our Board of Directors.
Can I purchase shares directly from the company?
  No, Anesiva does not have a direct stock purchase plan. Shares may be purchased through a broker of your choice.
What is a transfer agent and how do I contact them?
  Mellon Investor Services is Anesiva 's transfer agent. They are responsible for maintaining all records of registered stockholders (including change of address, telephone number and name), canceling or issuing stock certificates, and resolving problems related to lost, destroyed or stolen certificates. If your shares are held in Street name (by your broker), you will have to contact your broker for these services. You can contact Mellon Investor Services at 800-240-0593 (if you are calling from outside the U.S. please call 201-329-8660) or visit them on the web at www.melloninvestor.com and click Investor ServiceDirect®. Once you have cleared the security of the web site, from the menu across the top, select the Account Management menu to certify your Taxpayer Identification Number and proceed with your request. I've lost my stock certificates. How can I replace them?
  Contact Mellon Investor Services and they can look up your records and make any necessary adjustment. There is a fee involved for replacing lost certificates.
How can I update my address?
  If your shares are held in your name, you may contact Mellon Investor Services as indicated above. If your shares are held in Street name, you must contact your broker to update your address.
How do I get an investor packet?
  Go to the Information Request link at the left of this page and follow the instructions given.
